For Tampa resident, DJAmy (Amy Alderman) music has always been an intricate part of Amy's life. A native of Richmond, VA, her extensive background spans over 25 years- as a drummer/percussionist, instructor, to music theory and composing- combine that with radio broadcasting and playing in several local bands, she has earned various awards and recognition along the way.

Sunday 5-7a eastern 2-5a pacific  Amy made her way into the DJ booth in the early 1990s and it was a match! A residency soon followed and she continued to attract more listeners while she created her own style. Upon moving to Tampa/St. Petersburg in summer of 2001, Amy immediately found the club circuit scene and observed the different styles of music from a variety of DJs and soon developed her own style which celebrates her passion and excitement for music. Amy continues to learn and grow and has gained the support of the DJ community and friends. She has teamed up with Gioia Bruno (Expose) and BurnLounge- opening her own on-line digital download store. Also she is working with DJ Randy Bettis, several independent artists and has a weekly radio show on G.I.R.L.! She has recently been added to the DJ List so show your support and give her a vote.
