* Tapped by David Fricke as one of Rolling Stone's new "Guitar Gods" [RS 1020, 02.27.07]. The only woman!!! * Kaki scored Sean Penn's movie, "Into The Wild," with Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder and composer Michael Brook. The score was jnominated for a Golden Globe. Kaki's music is also featured in the recent Warner Brother's movie "August Rush". * Kaki recently appeared on Later with Jools Holland (video footage here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=hF9K1RXofEc) * Kaki is featured on the new Foo Fighter's record "Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace" where she performs a duet with Dave Grohl. This record was just nominated by The Grammy's for "Album of The Year". Kaki can be seen playing the duet live at the O2 Arena with Grohl in front of 30,000 fans: http://youtube.com/watch?v=sp1cRjmIuMw * Her 4th record, "Dreaming of Revenge" (Velour), is coming out March 4, 2008. The record was produced by Malcolm Burn (Chris Whitley, Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris).
