HERE! ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF FILM "HOLDING TREVOR"

Brent Gorski film set to debut in May in theaters around the country

February 12, 2007 - here! Films, the theatrical distribution and worldwide sales division of here! Networks, America's premium gay television network, has announced that it has acquired the United States and Canadian distribution rights to the film "Holding Trevor" from Stray Films LLC. The film, which so far has played at the gay film festivals Outfest 2007, Frameline 2007, and the Philadelphia International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival of 2007, will be debuting theatrically in May 2008.

"We are incredibly pleased to be bringing 'Holding Trevor' to theaters across the country. The film, showcasing the multi-talented writer/producer Brent Gorski, is a strong indicator of things to come from the next generation of filmmakers and we are excited to be able to bring this thought-provoking story to the screen," said Mark Reinhart, Executive Vice President of Acquisitions and Distribution for here! Films.

The film centers on the central character of Trevor Holden, who has just witnessed his boyfriend, Darrell, overdose on heroin--again. And as his oldest friend, Trevor feels a responsibility to help Darrell in his latest attempt at sobriety, much to the dismay of his own best friends Jake and Andie. But when Darrell starts using again, Trevor is finally ready to call it quits. And just when he does, he meets the ever-so-charming Ephram. As Trevor's relationship with Ephram quickly progresses, it starts to put a strain on his friendships with Jake and Andie. Jake, the self-proclaimed sex-addict, is starting to worry a little bit about his past catching up with him, namely in the form of HIV. Meanwhile Andie, who drunkenly ends her sexual dry spell with a one-night stand, realizes that Jake might have less to worry about than she does.

here! Films trusts that "Holding Trevor" is just the type of cerebral dark comedy that can speak directly to the twenty-somethings of today while letting other generations in on the joke.

Trevor is played by Gorski, who was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and first expressed an interest in acting when he enrolled, at age 14, in The School for Creative and Performing Arts. Upon graduation, he attended the University of Cincinnati's College Conservatory where he continued his acting studies. Today, Brent resides in Los Angeles, California.

"Holding Trevor" marks the feature directing debut of Rosser Goodman, who has a multitude of film and television credits as a writer, producer and director, and also stars singer/songwriter/actor Jay Brannan (Shortbus).
