The Advocate Reports Miley Cyrus Will Party with the Gays on Her B-Day

According to a report by leading LGBT news outlet The Advocate, teenage starlet Miley Cyrus will be partying with the gays at Disneyland for her birthday. Cyrus will reportedly be spending her sweet 16 b-day at Disneyland in Anaheim, California during the 11th annual Gay Days celebration at the park.
Gay Days Anaheim typically brings together thousands of gays and lesbians at the park every year, many of whom wear red shirts during their visit as a representation of their community pride. Last year, the celebration was attended by approximately 30,000 gay and lesbian visitors.
Gay Days Anaheim, like its sister celebration in Orlando, is not an officially sanctioned Disney event. However, visitors to both parks during the celebrations tout the atmosphere as extremely gay-friendly and work closely with Gay Days organizers to help facilitate the celebrations.
According to The Advocate, Miley Cyrus will enjoy her birthday at Disneyland in Anaheim with 5,000 of her favorite fans on October 5. In a press release issued on Thursday, Cyrus said she expects the celebration to be “an awesome party.”
Fans of the Hannah Montana star can purchase tickets to attend Cyrus’ birthday party starting on August 30. The price for tickets will be $250 and be available for purchase at www.disneyparks.com/miley. But not everyone will have to pony up the cash to party with Cyrus.
“The best part of the party is we're going to recognize some really cool kids from Youth Service America who are giving back to their community,” Cyrus said, according to the press release. “That's so awesome because I think it's really important for kids like us to volunteer.”
In honor of the special occasion, Disney Parks will make a contribution to the youth volunteer program.
