Well, it has been 2 weeks since our winter break started, and it's been pretty fabulous! We have visited our friends and family (those we wanted to see LOL) in Houston, Dallas & Nacogdoches. Fortunately, since we are identical twins, we have the same family and friends to visit. On Saturday, December 20, we ate dinner with a very close male friend at HUE at the intersection of Kirby and Eichmond in Houston. HUE is very new, but it was an exceptional experience - we highly recommend the beef sate, snapper & coconut mojito. The cosmos were great too, but Meteor has spoiled us on cosmos. We are back in Corpus now, but not for long. We will spend a (hopefully) quiet Christmas day here. Traditionally, we take down all of our decorations on Christmas night, then hit a bar. We will probably do the same thing this year. Our mother is cooking a huge meal: honey-baked, spiral sliced ham, turkey, dressing, and homemade pies. Way too much food for so few people. Tony and I gave each other Louis Vuitton soft briefcases and backpacks for Christmas. In these hard times, some might say that those were rather extravagant gifts, but we make no excuses for our actions. We bought them because we wanted them, and we are so frugal on other matters that we could afford them. And we look great carrying them into meetings or the gym. Our best friends are in Houston so we won't see them on Christmas, and we were a little depressed about that, but we got over it. The important thing is that they are moving back to Corpus after living in Houston for 12 years. You may say to yourself that "the twins are in Houston almost every weekend, so why does their friends moving back to Corpus matter?" It just does. We want our closest friends here near us. Anyway, we hope everyone has a great Christmas and stays safe. This is only our second Christmas here in Corpus, even though we have lived here over 18 years! Good night.................................... Tim & Tony
