Fashion Goggles: List Obsessed Okay so I admit that since this column launched, I have been obsessed with wacky lists. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that this week’s column is all about lists and some of the people atop them. From the ultra-thin to the uber-hot, here’s a look at the people scoring high marks on lists across America in the last few weeks.

Okay so I admit that since this column launched, I have been obsessed with wacky lists. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that this week’s column is all about lists and some of the people atop them. From the ultra-thin to the uber-hot, here’s a look at the people scoring high marks on lists across America in the last few weeks. Nicole Richie Is No Friend of PETA’s Taking over where her BFF left off last year, Nicole Richie won the top spot on PETA’s annual worst dressed list this year knocking a reformed Paris Hilton off the list altogether. (Aw… I’m sure Paris is shedding no tears over this one!). Also topping this year’s list were Ashley Olsen, Christina Ricci and Eva Longoria… which makes me suspect that PETA may have something against little people, especially given that all four of these women are, shall we say, a wee bit vertically challenged. Shame on you PETA! Why pick on these well –dressed little people anyway? Even if these gals do wear fur they’re clearly not eating many animals given their diminutive stature and it certainly doesn’t take many animals to cover them up! Now most nominated PETA offender Star Jones… well she’s a whole different story. Even I weep at the number of animals that have died to keep her sycophantic carcass warm. GQ’s Men of the Year List is Out Well they’re not the most attractive bunch, but they are certainly accomplished. I’m talking here about GQ’s 2006 Men of the Year awards which this year includes: Jay-Z, Will Ferrell, Spike Lee, Dikembo Mutombo, Stephen Colbert (who for the record I do think is adorable), Jose Reyes, Forrest Whittaker, Carson Palmer, Thom Browne and Leo DiCaprio who gets better with age. Surprisingly the Brits had a much more attractive crop at the UK Edition of the Men of the Year Awards held back in September. Across the pond, awards went to the likes of Jonathan Rhys Myers, Cillian Murphy, Jamie Oliver, Rod Stewart, Justin Timberlake and the band Keane. Foiled again by the Brits we were! Diamonds Are a Boy’s Best Friend Too… Sugar Daddies get those black American Express cards out and ready because super luxury jeweler Harry Winston is launching a new men’s collection which will be designed by Thom Browne, the man who topped the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s list of menswear designers in 2006. The new men’s jewelry collection is expected to be carried at the swank Harry Winston outposts around the globe and will include cuff links, rings, jewelry and timepieces. (And staggering price tags I’m sure! Ah… What price fashion?) The Male VIP List At The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show… When the Victoria’s Secret show airs December 5 on CBS, beer-guzzling types in red states will undoubtedly be focused on a line up of supermodels that will include Gisele Bündchen and Karolina Kurkova. I, however, will be focused on another list… and that is the one that includes all the hot male celebrities who turned out to see the Victoria’s Secrets Angels strut their stuff down a runway at the Kodak Theatre last month. Who’s on the list? Well let’s see… there’s the dishy Robbie Williams, hunky Alex Von Furstenberg (son of Diane), Hard Rock Café heir, Harry Morton, the cute as a button Topher Grace and basketball god, Rick Fox… just to name a few. Oh and did I mention that Paris and Nicole apparently sit next to each other at the show and that Justin Timberlake brings “Sexy Back” in a live performance as the models take their turns on the catwalk? Ah… finally a reason to watch the Victoria’s Secret show. I finally get what all the excitement is about. Who knew darling?
And that is a best dressed list worthy wrap. Until next time… Cheers!
